How to check U.S. I-94 travel history and fill in the number of days stayed in the United States for the past three years.
When preparing U.S. tax filing materials, ITIN-related documents, or determining nonresident/resident tax status, we may need to confirm your actual days of presence in the United States. Please follow the steps below to check your U.S. entry and exit records, and provide us with each U.S. entry and departure date in 2025, plus your total days in the United States in 2024 and 2023.
List every U.S. entry and departure date in 2025.
Provide total U.S. days of presence for 2024.
Provide total U.S. days of presence for 2023.
Fill in the Excel template and email it back to support.
What information to provide
Please provide the following three types of information:
Each date you entered and left the United States in 2025
Every date you entered the United States
Every date you left the United States
If you traveled to and from the United States multiple times in 2025, list each trip separately
Total days stayed in the United States in 2024
Only the total number of days is needed
You do not need to list every entry and exit unless you are unsure of the total

Where to check U.S. entry and exit records
Open the official U.S. CBP I-94 website:
Use the passport information exactly as printed on your passport. Name order, hyphens, spaces, and passport number must match.
After entering the page, choose Travel History.
The page will ask you to enter passport and personal information. Usually you need to fill in:
First Name / Given Name
Last Name / Family Name
Date of Birth
Passport Number
Passport Country of Issuance
Try to enter the English information exactly as shown on your passport. Name order, spaces, hyphens, and passport number should match the passport.
